What Does “3D” Mean?
01
Technique
With a wall printing machine, 3D/embossed effects are typically created by first laying down a white underbase, then printing CMYK. Next, you selectively stack additional white passes to build height where you want relief, and finish with a final CMYK pass—producing a tactile, embossed result.
02
Texture levels
Light
03
It’s not a sculpture
You choose where to add relief (logos, highlights, cracks, brushstrokes).
04
Surfaces
Painted drywall, plaster, sealed brick/concrete, MDF/wood, glass, metal, tile; floors with the right anti-slip topcoat.
